How to creating Art With Beans

Image
This project uses canvas and beans. Particularly black beans and white navy beans.   Draw in a simple silhouette picture on a canvas. Paint in the silhouette, covering any areas that would have black beans with black paint. Glue on the beans. In this case I used black beans and white navy beans. Add the white beans. Just use white glue to attach them! Final touches include painting the edges and then sealing with acrylic sealant. For more details check out the link below!

First, gather your materials. Corrugated cardboard, 25" wide and as tall as you'd like your light Spray paint Yard stick Box cutter Glue gun Pendant light cord (this one from Ikea is only $5!) Step 1: Start by spray painting one side of the cardboard. Let it dry thoroughly and turn the cardboard painted side down. Step 2: Mark the cardboard at 5-inch intervals lengthwise with the box cutter. On each mark, make a vertical cut with the box cutter so that the top side of the cardboard is cut but the bottom side remains intact.   Step 3: Lay the cardboard flat again and cut it into strips lengthwise by tracing along the yard stick with the box cutter. Cut a hole in the top just wide en...

How to make a beautifl canavs

Image
what You need  : Canvas  (any size) Doilies  (at least 2 for small canvases – for bigger canvases at least 4) Spray Paint  (whatever color you want.  I always use Krylon spray paint) That’s all you need!  :) I used an 8″ x 10″ canvas for this tutorial, but I’ve made these big too.  My largest is 16″ x 20″. Lay your canvas on your painting drop cloth.  Arrange your doilies how you’d like them. Once your doilies are in place, grab your spray paint and spray away!  Make sure and give that canvas a really good coating! Now wait about 10 seconds, because that’s probably all you’re going to be able to wait if you’re as impatient as me.  LOL! CAREFULLY pull off the doilies… and VOILA!  You have an awesome piece of art.  Easiest tutorial thus far I think.  Huge impact?  YOU BET! and that's it  :)
